A Legacy in Light

A story older than time itself.

Forged deep within the earth across billions of years, each natural diamond carries a brilliance shaped by pressure, patience, and time. At Rim&Co, we honour that heritage by selecting only stones of remarkable character to become the symbol of your most enduring moments.

Anatomy
The Diamond, Understood

Every diamond is a quiet feat of geometry. Knowing its parts is knowing how light moves through it, and how brilliance is born.

Table
The Top Facet
The largest, flat surface on the crown. The table is the diamond's window, where light first enters and exits.
Crown
The Upper Half
The sloped section above the girdle. Its facets disperse light into the fire and scintillation a diamond is known for.
Girdle
The Outer Edge
The narrow band that forms the diamond's widest point, the meeting line between crown and pavilion.

Pavilion
The Lower Half
The cone-shaped underside of the diamond. Its precise angles reflect light back through the crown to create brilliance.
Culet
The Bottom Point
The tiny facet at the diamond's lowest tip. In modern cuts, it is often polished to a near-invisible point.
Depth
The Inner Measure
The distance from table to culet. Precise depth ratios are what allow a diamond to truly catch and return light.
